LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Two individuals have  been arrested in Arkansas amid an investigation into the discovery of a body on a farm in Prairie County.
 
Michael Wayne Stivers was arrested on Thursday  for abuse of a corpse.  Stivers was questioned early Thursday morning in connection with Virginia  Lee Colvin.  Colvin, who was arrested just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday  is being held at the Prairie County Jail in Des Arc.
 
The ASP says Michael Strivers was already  being held in the Lonoke County Jail on charges unrelated to the discovery of the body in Prairie County before being questioned by State Police Special Agents.
 
No other suspects are being sought in Arkansas in connection with the case. The ASP Criminal Investigation Division continues working with the Johnstown Police Department in New York to confirm the identity of the body.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A New York woman has been arrested in Arkansas amid an investigation into the discovery of a body on a farm in Prairie County.
 
In a news release issued Thursday, the Arkansas State Police says Virginia Colvin, 56, of Johnstown, NY, was taken into custody around 6 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Perry County. She is being held at the Prairie County Jail in Des Arc.
 
Colvin faces a charge of abuse of a corpse.
