SHERWOOD, Ark. - Update (October 23) : Dreams came true in Little Rock Sunday night.
Paula was surprised with a meet-and-greet with Bruno Mars before the start of the concert, her wish becoming a reality.
She was also surprised by a bouquet and tiara from her home health agency, Above and Beyond.
Paula's sister said she was truly speechless and beyond happy... a real dream come true.
Bruno Mars hits the stage at Verizon Arena Sunday night.
Among the screaming fans will be 24-year-old Paula Clark, who calls herself Bruno Mars' biggest fan.
Her wish came true when she got tickets for Christmas, but her dream is to meet him in person. A dream her family fears may be her last.
Paula was born with severe heart defects.
Other complications have taken a toll on her lung and brain function. According to Paula's mother Martha Clark, Paula functions at a 5 year old level.
In May of 2017, doctors told Martha there was nothing more they could do for Paula. She doesn't qualify for lung or heart transplants because she would need both and she has deteriorated too much.
Paula continues to defy odds. Martha believes Paula is a living, breathing miracle, and she knows getting her daughter to meet Bruno Mars would be one too.
Watch Paula receive her Bruno Mars tickets for Christmas here.
The area is along Hwy. 21 on the north side of Boxley Valley.
