Two Victims Recovering After LR Shooting, No Suspects Arrested

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Two men are recovering after being shot Friday evening and police have yet to find any suspects.

Police were called to the 4300 block of W. 16th St. around 8:25 p.m. on March 17.

Then they arrived, they saw a victim, identified as John Vines, shot in his left knee. They put a tourniquet on him and emergency responders took care of him.

Police then found the second victim, only identified as Robert, sitting on a gutter at 13th and Peyton St.

Police said neither victim could give them a suspect description or tell them where the shooting(s) had happened. Officers said they canvassed the area but were never able to find any suspects or a crime scene.

The two victims were taken to nearby hospitals, and both injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Authorities confirm that two people have been shot in their legs Friday night near 16th and Peyton Street.

Police got the call shortly after 8:30 p.m. When they arrived officers were able to locate one victim; however, they found the other victim at 13th and Peyton.

Both injuries are not believed to be life threatening
