Tobacco Products Banned at Pulaski Technical College

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- One Arkansas college is promoting a healthy way of living.

For the past five years, public college campuses across Arkansas have been smoke free. The health department, along with college campuses statewide, are promoting a tobacco and smoke free campus.

A panel Wednesday at Pulaski Tech discussed what resources they can provide to help promote the healthy lifestyle.

"We want to provide comprehensive education for students so they know what their resources are if they want to quit," said Tim Jones with Pulaski Tech.

Students, by state law, could chew tobacco in class and dip. However, it's banned on Pulaski Tech campuses.
