JONESBORO, Ark. - Three individuals were arrested on Nov. 21 after a search warrant issued by the Jonesboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit (SCU) led to the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, ecstasy, and a loaded weapon.
During the search of an apartment near the 1006 Cartwright block, officers found approximately 1.1 pounds of methamphetamine in "ice" form, approximately 249 suspected ecstasy tablets, 10- 10 milligram fentanyl patches, and a loaded semi-automatic handgun with a drum magazine.
Chauncy L. Mayes, 38, Joslyn L. Gray, 21, and Roshuna N. Johnson, 29, all from Jonesboro were transported to the Craighead County Detention Center where they are being held pending a probable cause hearing scheduled to take place on Nov. 22.
Jonesboro Police say all three suspects are being charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance (not meth or cocaine) with purpose to deliver, and simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm.
