JONESBORO, Ark.- Tacos 4 Life, a restaurant known for giving back continues to grow and expand across the state.
This month, they'll open their seventh location in Jonesboro.
They're also giving back even more than before, now by helping those close to home.
Buy a meal, give a meal to a hungry child, it's a concept that in just three years years has allowed Tacos 4 Life to provide more than two million meals for hungry children all over the world.
"We just got back from Honduras and it was amazing meeting those kids, " said Cynthia Malik, Tacos 4 Life Executive Chef.
Now they're helping those in need here at home during the season of giving.
"Through Nov. 20th if you bring in a can donation you get a free queso and the donation goes to the Arkansas Food Bank."
Then starting December 11th, if you buy a kids meal a meal is given to a hungry child here in Arkansas and also to a child in an impoverished country.
"It's an exciting way to get kids involved," Malik said. "Giving them the opportunity and empowering them is amazing."
They're hoping to get the whole family involved.
"We just want to give back. it's the season of giving and we got in the Christmas spirit and we hope to do this every year again and again."
An Arkansas restaurant making a difference across the globe and here at home by feeding the hungry and giving families a way to give back one taco at a time.
