MONTICELLO, Ark. - Mahlli Arrington made his first appearance in court Friday, Oct. 27.
The Drew County Circuit Clerk says Arrington was charged with kid napping, aggravated robbery, theft of property, and felon in possession of a firearm.
His bond is set to $500,000.
MONTICELLO, Ark. - Authorities arrested Mahli Dircil Arrington, 20, of Monticello, in connection with an armed bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning.
Police report that the robbery took place Oct. 26 at a Commercial Bank located near Hwy 278 East.
With assistance from the Arkansas Department of Corrections tracking dogs, special agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division and Monticello PD officers were able to locate Arrington at a nearby Monticello home.
Officials say Arrington was found inside the residence, with the stolen money and a handgun in his possession.
Police transported Arrington to the Drew County Detention Center where he is being held on charges of aggravated robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
