Suspect Caught Minutes after Pulaski County Bank Robbery

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - A suspect has been taken into custody just minutes after a bank robbery in south Pulaski County.

Police have identified the suspect as Jason Brixey, 42, of Little Rock.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says the heist at the Simmons Bank branch at Arch Street Pike and Atwood Road in the Landmark community happened shortly after noon Thursday.

Deputies say Brixey came into the bank wearing a motorcycle helmet, "displayed a firearm and demanded money."

After getting some cash, Brixey left the bank on a motorcycle but was caught soon after in a concrete block building on Circle Lake Drive, just south of the bank.

The PCSO says the motorcycle, firearms and cash from the bank were all found and Brixey was in custody by 12:18 p.m.
