DERMOTT, Ark. - Three people have been sent to the hospital after their car collided with a school bus Friday afternoon.
Officials say a Honda Accord and bus collided around 4 p.m. at the south intersection of Highways 165 and 208.
Two adults and a child in the Honda were taken to McGehee Hospital. The driver of the car was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There were no injuries reported to children who were on board the bus.
According to authorities, the bus was headed east on Highway 208, and had a stop sign. The Accord was traveling south. Investigators say the car didn't have time to stop, causing the driver to hit the side of the bus.
There's no further word on the conditions of those injured.
