"Right to be Left Alone" Bill Begins to Take Shape

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - We're getting some new info on a unique bill we first told you about Monday, with the aim of granting a right to be left alone.

The sponsor of the bill says he wants to apply the concept of a "no-call list" to things like spam emails and commercial door-to-door solicitors.

"People want to be left alone. They want to be able to get through their day, deal with their family, deal with their kids... and simply be left alone," State Senator Jeremy Hutchinson, R-Little Rock, said.

So far, details of the legislation have not been released and a hearing has not been set.
