Rep. Westerman in Support of Friday's Healthcare Legislation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- With health care legislation coming to the forefront this week, we are now expecting a vote in the House of Representatives on Friday morning.
President Trump's budget director told house Republicans, that whether it passes or fails, the President demands a vote no later than Friday after Thursday's delay. Although not all of Arkansas's congressmen are on board, Bruce Westerman tells us that he's ready to support the bill.

"I would vote for the bill.  We've got to keep the process moving forward," Congressman Westerman said. "This is the first step in truly repealing Obamacare doing some entitlement program changes that are unprecedented in recent congressional history. I think it's very important that we keep the process going."

Congressman Westerman says he would rather have seen the negotiation process slowed down, but he believes the process is working.
