FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) - This weekend the hogs are home after being on the road for the past couple of weeks. After this weekend we'll be halfway through our home-games for the year, but with the Razorbacks not doing so well will businesses notice a lack of fans?
At Sassy's, the answer is no. Staff at the restaurants tell us the main difference they see is when their customers come in. For home games, fans generally come before and after the games. For away games, fans generally come in and stay through the game.
With the Hogs not doing so hot this season, employee Tori Haygood says fans may just change up their order instead of the channel. She says, "Well, they definitely drink more. It's a little bit - some people are a little sad, but it's fine. It's still exciting though, I mean, everybody's always a really hopeful Razorback fan I'd say."
Haygood expects a large crowd out before the game this weekend - but thinks fans will want a chance to catch their hogs at home.
