JONESBORO, Ark. - Northeast Arkansas receives some good economic news thanks to a partnership with Walmart.
Nice Pak, a wet-wipes manufacturer, is adding 30 new jobs at its Jonesboro location.
Wednesday, it announced its plans to purchase an additional $250 billion dollars in products.
Governor Asa Hutchinson praised the company's commitment to help bring back jobs into the United States. Jonesboro's mayor pointed to that as well.
"When you get a company to come to Jonesboro that's a good corporate citizen and they keep on adding more employees that's incredible economic impact," Jonesboro Mayor Harold Perrin.
There are currently 300 employees at Nice Pak. It will also launch a new manufacturing line this December.
