NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - High-explosive sounds may be heard coming from Camp Robinson the next few days as the military installation conducts artillery simulator training.
The Arkansas National Guard says the training on ranges located in the central portion of Camp Robinson will begin around 4 p.m. Friday and conclude at the same time on Sunday afternoon.
The Guard says possible ground tremors/vibrations may also be felt.
Communities in proximity to the training area that may hear or feel effects of the training beyond the borders of the post include: Cato, Gravel Ridge, Runyon Acres, Sylvan Hills, portions of Levy and North Little Rock.
