NLRPD: Man Stabbed to Death in North Little Rock Friday, No Charges Expected

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Police investigating a deadly stabbing Friday night say they believe it stemmed from domestic dispute.

53-year-old Mark Crotts died Friday night.

Officers were called to a stabbing in the 3900 block of Susan Circle shortly before 7:00 p.m.

Crotts was found in the driveway of a residence suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to the hospital, but died later.

Investigators were told a woman left the scene in a Ford F-150.

They spotted a vehicle matching the description.

After an extensive interview, the 26-year-old woman was released.

A spokesperson for the NLRPD says no charges are expected as it appears this is a case of self defense.

The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor for a standard review.
