NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARK. (News release) - North Little Rock School District (NLRSD) plans to fill vacant board member seat this month after member resigned in September.
The NLRSD announced in a news release that Scott Teague, Board of Education member for Zone 5, resigned Friday, Sept. 22.
Zone 5 encompasses most of Indian Hills between McCain Blvd., Hwy 107, Camp Robinson Rd.
Residents within Zone 5 that are interested in filling the temporary school board position vacated by Teague should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or hand deliver a letter of intent along with a resume to 2700 North Poplar St., North Little Rock by noon on Thursday, Oct 12.

Candidates who have followed the listed requirements are invited to address the NLRSD Board of Education at a special board meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12. where board members will elect a temporary replacement after hearing from all candidates.
The newly appointed temporary member for Zone 5 will serve until November 2018.

According to current state law, all school board members are required to have annual training and are also required to give full financial disclosure annually.
