MCCRORY, Ark. -- Floods and high waters rising up to several homes on Thompson Street in McCrory. "We were looking for some places to get flooded, but not as high as it did," says homeowner Kip Davis.
Thursdays storms caused headaches to homeowners - as streets, homes and an elementary school flooded. Many people hitting the streets - Saturday morning - to clean up the damage caused by Harvey. "There's trash that washed up this morning and blocks of wood."
Kip Davis has spent the last few days helping his neighbors. "A lot of our neighbors we let them park their cars up in our yard there."
Along with his family, they're dealing with flood damage in their homes. "My dad who lives just east from here. His house was underwater twice so this was just miserable for him this time as well."
While water is still draining out on Thompson Street - Davis is hoping this road doesn't flood again anytime soon. "If we can get a good dry spell, I think well be OK."
Farmers in the area also say it will take a few days to see how much damage was done to crops in the area.
