LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- One person is being treated for a wound to the leg after shots were fired in the parking lot of the Rave Theater.
Their injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
The victim is not believed to have been an intended target of the shooter.
More than one shot was fired, but only the one person appears to have been hit.
In a briefing a short time after the shooting Officer Steve Moore, spokesperson for the Little Rock Police Department, says the victim "was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Officer Moore says the injured person was fairly close to the front of the theater while the gunfire came from one or more vehicles in the far end of the parking lot.
What prompted the gunfire is not yet clear.
"Several vehicles that left, we don't know if they left area to get away from shooting or they were suspects."
The identity of the injured man has not been released.
