Man Charged with 16 Counts of Breaking and Entering in SWA

TEXARKANA, Ark.- A man has been arrested on 16 counts of breaking and entering in South West Arkansas.

Police say after numerous reports of breaking and entering, they were able to identify the suspect as Marquis Robinson, 31, of Bastrop Louisiana. 

After executing their search warrant officials say that they found Robinson in possession of three firearms, a large amount of marijuana and electronic scales.  Police did note that one of the three guns found was reported stolen in a recent breaking and entering. 

Upon his arrest, Police found that Robinson was allegedly responsible for three commercial burglaries in Texarkana, Arkansas. 

 In total, Robinson was arrested for: 3 counts of Commercial Burglary, 16 counts  of Breaking or Entering,  Theft of Property by Receiving along with numerous other charges. 

Authorities say that Robinson is also being held on warrants for Attempted Homicide out of  Louisiana. 

Robinson is currently being held at the Miller County Detention Center.
