Little Rock Kappa League Inducts 23 Young Men


NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Little Rock Kappa League has newly inducted 23 young men, age 7 to 17 into their leadership program.
The Little Rock Kappa League program is a leadership training program under the guidance of the Little Rock Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
Rod Demery, star of the ID Channel Show "Murder Chose Me" and also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. 
The program focuses on education, community service, healthy living, leadership, career education, financial training, self-identity, and cultural awareness.  
Little Rock Kappa League has led or partnered community service projects around the region.
Rod Demery spoke about his life, and how he has been able to deal with the loss of his mother at a young age.

Demery appears on the true crime detective series "Murder Chose Me" on Investigation Discovery.
In the series the retired Shreveport, Louisiana homicide detective reflects on the career he feels he was destined for since the age of 3, when his mother was murdered. 
Demery served 14 years as a detective in the violent crimes unit, with a 100% solve rate as lead investigator.
