SEBASTIAN COUNTY, Ark.- Some K-9 officers in the River Valley will soon be equipped with GPS tracking collars.
This is all because of the generosity of both the community and a local corporation.
The Sebastian county K-9 officers will be equipped with a the tracking collars to make sure they are safe and will not get lost.
"Not only will it give them GPS tracking, but these whistle devices also provide information back on the caloric intake that the pets need. It`s an activity tracker on top of a GPS tracker," said Russell Hayes, Plant Manager of Mars Pet Care.
An anonymous donor also donated a GPS collar to Greenwood`s K-9 , Kina.
These collars are just one way Mars Pet Care has supported local officers.
