CONWAY, Ark. (News release) - Jenna Bush Hager, one of the twin daughters of former President George W. Bush and a contributing correspondent for NBC’s Today show, will visit the University of Central Arkansas as a distinguished lecturer Feb. 27.

The lecture is set for Reynolds Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Hager is the daughter of the 43rd U.S. president and his wife, Laura, and granddaughter of the 41st president, George H.W. Bush and his wife, Barbara. “We are honored to have Jenna Bush Hager as a guest speaker at Reynolds Performance Hall as she tells about her interesting and exciting life,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds. “Her lecture will cover growing up in the White House, being a UNICEF volunteer and the inspiration she received from the experience to write a best-selling book and about her current role as a media personality on the Today show.”

Ana’s Story is about a single mother, 17, with HIV who struggles to shield her child from the life she had of abuse and neglect. Hager is the chair of UNICEF’s Next Generation initiative, which is dedicated to reducing childhood deaths around the world.
