LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- New businesses expect to open around the Rivermarket area in the next month.
Those businesses include a new "vintage" bowling alley, a beer hall, a beer garden and a rooftop bar.
Our reporter Price McKeon got a look inside these places on Thursday to show you a sneak peak.
We saw construction teams speed up in the final stretch.
Thomas Schmidt lives in the Rivermarket area.
He said, "You know who doesn't love beer and a rooftop bar?"
Schmidt and his best friend count down the days until they can check out the new places popping up around the Rivermarket area.
We got a look inside the Dust Bowl on East Capitol Avenue.
It is a bowling alley with a trendy twist.
The building used to be the American Legion back in the day. The bar inside by the check-in area still have the 1970s vinyl.
Everything inside the alley is vintage including the classic wood lanes. People will be able to grab a bite to eat and a drink while they bowl.
Schmidt said, "Super excited. I'm pumped about that. We'll probably go over there twice a week."
Next door the same restaurant group will open Fassler Hall. We learned it will be a German beer hall style inside with a beer garden outside.
McNellie's Restaurant Group is opening both of those locations. The group owns 28 properties in Oklahoma. We learned from someone within the group that these 2 properties are the first properties outside the state of Oklahoma. The group chose Little Rock for both of the businesses.
Just about a block away at East 4th Street and Rock Street we got a sneak peek at Downtown Little Rock's first rooftop bar.
It is located on top of the Hilton Garden Inn.
The restaurant's name is Agasi 7. The food and beverage director Michael Skeen showed us around as construction crews put together the finishing touches outside.
Skeen said, "Seating up against the fence then seating all the way up around the rail. This is a complete retractable awning."
There will be seating inside and outside. As long as the weather cooperates he said locals and visitors will be able to see the breathtaking view of downtown while grabbing a bite to eat all 365 days of the year.
The restaurant Copper Grill, which is also located in the Rivermarket, is revamping their look and menu.
We learned it will open back up with the new look and same name next week.
Investors with Agasi 7 at the Hilton Garden Inn, told us the rooftop will open on November 24, 2017.
McNellie's group said the Dust Bowl and Fassler Hall plan to open mid-December, by the holidays.
