LITTLE ROCK,Ark.- Former Highway Commissioner for the state of Arkansas is now exploring a run for Mayor of Little Rock.
Frank Scott spoke on Friday about what's moving him to examine getting this position and what he hopes for the future of the city.
"One of the main things that I see for the city of Little Rock as far as why I'm exploring the run for mayor is to bring unity back to our city and so by bringing that unity back to the city I really feel that will help us foster more growth jobs and economic opportunity once we have that we'll be able to face some of our pressing issues with public safety. "
Scott grew up in and currently calls the capitol city his home.
He completed three and a half years of service as the State Highway Commissioner.
Scott is also a banker and serves as an Associate Pastor at his church.
The body was found after a boating accident Friday night.
