NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- A liquor store in North Little Rock is nothing but the framework after a fire damages the building early Sunday morning.
Stella's Liquor is a family owned store that so many people in the Rose City area say they went to, but now many drives by seeing the familiar store is no longer.
Neighbors that live across from the store say they woke up at four Sunday morning to a loud boom and popping noises, only to look out their windows and see the store was on fire.
Many say they have seen the liquor looters out there Sunday morning and then several police units guarding the store throughout the day.
One neighbor says this store has been a staple on Broadway for as long as he can remember and can not believe it is gone.
John Siems, a neighbor says, "Woke up this morning and looked outside and saw the fire and looked over to there and it was gone."
It was not but ten months ago in August of 2016 when investigators say two other fires were started at Stella's Liquor.
North Little Rock Fire and Police thought arson was the cause and that Amanjit Singh could have been behind it. Singh's family owns the store.
Sunday morning Singh was booked into the Pulaski County Jail on theft by receiving charges. No word yet on if he has any connection to the fire.
