SHERWOOD, Ark. -- A Central Arkansas family did not let the murder of their loved one stop them from going to what would have been his high school graduation on Saturday.
Bryan Thompson, 17, was killed in April 2016 in Sherwood, where he was a junior at Sylvan Hills High School.
On Saturday afternoon, his class graduated and Bryan's family sat through the ceremony as a way to honor the teen who never got a chance to wear a cap and gown.
"(I) miss him. I wish he was here. I wish I got to watch him walk and throw up his cap," said his cousin Maci Moore.
Xavier Porter and Quincy Parks are in the Pulaski County Jail charged with Bryan's murder. Travone Miller is also in jail connected to the case.
Ruling announced Monday from nation's highest court.
