LITTLE ROCK – It was announced Monday that Jack Jones, a death row inmate set to be executed later this month, was denied clemency by the Arkansas Parole Board following an April 7 hearing.
Governor Asa Hutchinson will still have the final say in whether Jones lives or dies.
The Arkansas Parole Board held an Executive Clemency and Victim Input Hearing for Jack Jones Friday, April 7, 2017. The Board made the following recommendation to Governor Asa Hutchinson:
