Cross County Sheriff: Jail Escapee Back in Custody After Two Days

WYNNE, Ark. -- A man who escaped from the Cross County jail is back in custody.
Sheriff J.R. Smith said authorities got information about the possible whereabouts of Bryan Baldwin around 7:00 a.m. Sunday.
Cross County deputies and Wynne police went to a home on Block Street and found Baldwin hiding in the attic, according to Sheriff Smith. 
Smith said Baldwin fell through the ceiling as he was being arrested. 
Baldwin was taken to Cross Ridge Hospital in Wynne for examination. 
Eight other inmates are expected to face charges related to Baldwin's escape.
