LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--Friday afternoon patients at Children's Hospital got a surprise.
Cowboy Bill Martin and other cowboys visited the patients and handed out cowboy and cowgirl hats to them.
They are part of a non-profit called Cowboys for a Cure based in Texas.
This non profit group travels around the country to help children in the hospital smile.
Most of the kids they visit are battling cancer or a life threatening illness.
Bill Martin said, "what seven year old wouldn't want to wear a cowboy hat? So we formed cowboys for cure foundation."
Friday they brought more than 100 hats to the hospital.
He said they have given out more than 7,000 hats around the country.
