LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- People who live and work in the neighborhood near John Barrow Road and 32nd are shaken up after the broad daylight shooting.
It happened half a block away from Grandma's House and Learning Center which had a building full of children at the time.
Owner, Brenda Jimmerson Brown says she's been at this location for 17 years but things have changed a lot since she first opened.
"It's not getting any better it's getting worse," says Brown.
Jaris Johnson and his wife have a three month old baby at the daycare. Johnson first learned about the shooting on Facebook, then quickly realized it was right near his child's daycare.
"I really hate that it happened so close," says Johnson. "I called the daycare just to make sure everything was okay."
Brown says she's not sure she wants to remain open at this location after experiencing something like that.
Little Rock Police say this is a busy district for the Northwest part of the city and they do have some issues with crime there.
