Community Cleanup This Weekend at LR's Union Park

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A park on the city's west side will get some sprucing up over the Memorial Day weekend.

Everyone's invited to stop by Union Park and lend a hand. The park is located on Walker St., a few blocks east of the 36th St. and Barrow Rd. intersection (across from the church and car wash).

Volunteers will be doing trash pick-up and park beautification.

The first phase of the project is Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10 a.m. to noon. The second phase is on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 3 p.m. until all work is done.

According to the City of Little Rock website, Union Park has these amenities:
Playground, Basketball Pad, Football Field, Lighted Softball, Restrooms, Pavilion, Picnic Tables and Parking
