LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Little Rock.
On Tuesday morning, a 40 foot tall white fir tree was delivered to a spot on Main Street.
The massive evergreen was harvested by helicopter along the Washington-Oregon border.
Tipton & Hurst is helping the city with securing the tree. It's being put up to attract more people to the downtown area.
"The Downtown Partnership really wanted this tree here to make Little Rock kind of go over the top and have a really nice Christmas display for all the citizens," says Howard Hurst, President of Tipton & Hurst.
Once the tree is properly secured, it will be unwrapped and decorated with multi-colored LED lights.
