LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The heat not stopping the show at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock.
The camp held its 34th annual fish fry Saturday.
It's one of the largest events it holds to raise money for its efforts, including creating unique experiences for people with special needs.
In addition to the delicious fish meals on hand, visitors got to enjoy everything from a fishing derby to face painting, hay rides, and even a petting zoo.
"It's just a fun family day for people in our community to come out and see our grounds and see this hidden oasis," Ali miller, director of programs at Camp Aldersgate, told us.
The camp is the state's only non-profit dedicated to helping kids and senior adults with special needs in a camp environment.
