Bruno Mars Surprises Fan

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Bruno Mars took the stage at Verizon Arena Sunday night  with a sold out crowd of nearly 16,000 fans.

But there was one fan in the stands who experienced a surprise of a lifetime just before he took the stage.

Over the weekend we told you about 24-year-old Paula Clark.

She was born with heart, lung and mental handicaps but her love for Bruno Mars is strong.

As her health deteriorates, Paula's mom tried to make her dream of meeting Bruno Mars come true.

With a little help from us, her story got in front of the entertainer.

"It's amazing, it's encouraging, it's really inspiring to know that there's so many people out there who care," said Catherine Brown, Paula's sister.

Paula and her sister Catherine  received VIP treatment heading to the Bruno Mars concert Sunday night.

They were treated with a chauffer, flowers and a tiara.

"This gentleman escorted us back stage and we kind of went through the depths of the arena and opened up some double doors and there was Bruno Mars walking down the hallway to meet Paula.," added Catherine.

A little 24 karat magic happened behind the scenes and the two met before the start of the show.

"It was a dream come true and this is what I wanted for so long," Paula said.

Even as Paula's health deteriorates, her love and sense of humor are strong.
