LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) has received a big check from Arkansas Federal Credit Union (AFCU).
On Thursday morning, the financial institution presented its donation totaling more than $101,000 that will help pay for renovation of the hospital's Teen Room.
"This has been huge for us. We can't do what we do without philanthropy," says Kait Ross, Director of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at ACH.
"We come to work with a purpose and a passion to be the difference, not only for our members but for the community and for the team at Arkansas Federal," says Rodney Showmar, President & CEO of AFCU.
Arkansas Federal Credit Union has contributed more than one million dollars to Arkansas Children's Hospital over the last 20 years.
