Balloons Released to Honor Memory of Bicyclist Involved in Main St. Bridge Accident

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Family and friends of a man riding a bicycle that was killed in a crash on the Main Street Bridge gathered Wednesday for a balloon release.

52-year-old Ricky Anderson was killed last week when John Fitzgerald Blanks drove the wrong way onto the bridge in North Little Rock.

On Wednesday,  Anderson's family released red, white and blue balloons.

"We can let go but never forget," said Freddie Anderson, the brother of Ricky.  "He'll always be in our heart even though he's not physically here with us."

The driver of the truck, Blanks,  also died in the crash.
