LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The father of a 23-year-old man wants answers from Yell County authorities, after he said his son was attacked by five pit bulls last week.
Charles Dobbs said his son, Brandon, was out on his street with a friend Thursday when he was brutally attacked by the pack of dogs.
Dobbs said an hour had passed before he found his son lying in the road, beaten and bleeding.
Dobbs said his son was airlifted to UAMS in Little Rock, where he went through emergency surgery.
Now Dobbs is looking for answers from the Yell County Sheriff's Office. He said they have not answered his calls, and have not said what wil happen to the owner of the dogs.
"This is just unacceptable. We've called the Yell County Sheriff's Office multiple times on these people and no one will help us," said Dobbs.
Dobbs said he wants something done so no other family has to go through something like this.
