Camden, Arkansas -
CAMDEN, AR (KTVE) - The indicted Ouachita County judge facing federal charges is resigning his position.
Judge James Michael Hesterly will step down on April 3.
Hesterly cites health problems and other concerns as the reason for his resignation.
Hesterly is scheduled to go on trial on April 7 on bribery charges.
He's asked for a delay, but the federal judge has not made a ruling.
The co-defendant in the case, Harry Clemons, pleaded guilty last week and is awaiting sentencing.
