LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - A routine bridge inspection will require lane closures and a ramp reduction on Interstate 440 in North Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will be inspecting a bridge just south of Interstate 40. The work will require closing the I-440 southbound outside lane. It will also reduce the width of the southbound on ramp from Interstate 40 eastbound. The closures will occur between mile markers 9 and 10.
The closures will be Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
