LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Motorists should be on the lookout for traffic issues on a main route from Interstate 30 to Hot Springs.
Crews will shutdown lanes on Highway 70 to prepare to widen the road. For many, that's good news but it will require a lot of work.
Pavement testing is also involved in preparation for the construction. Crews will begin on the eastbound lane starting in Hot Springs and continue to I-30. They will then move to the westbound lane, in the opposite direction.
The lanes will be closed Monday through Friday all this week between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
