Red Cross Blood Drives Hard Hit by Winter Weather

LITTLE ROCK, AR - January's winter weather forced the American Red Cross to cancel about 770 blood drives across Arkansas.

The result? About 25,000 potential donations going uncollected. 

February's winter weather is also having an impact.

That's why the agency is putting the word out that it needs help from blood donors of all types to restock its supplies.
