Politcal Plays of the Week: LR Mayor Re-Election, Political Ads and Fundraising Totals

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Political Analyst Jessica DeLoach shares her thoughts on our Political Plays this week. They include the recent announcement of Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola running for a 3rd term, the recent political ad released by Senator Mark Pryor. Another big topic fund raising totals.

Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola officially announcing plans to run for a third term. He says he is proud of the direction the city has moved under his watch and wants to see it continue. Mayor Stodola touting city-wide economic growth during his time in office, which began in 2007. No other candidates have announced plans to run for Little Rock Mayor this fall.

Representative Tom Cotton taking a lead over Senator Mark Pryor in the second quarter of the senatorial campaign. Cotton's campaign announced that it out raised Pryor's by over $700,000.  This was in a three month period. Pryor's campaign saying it raised $1.5m in the quarter, giving it $8.95 million to date.
