The event "Kartwheels for Kali" is coming up on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and passes will be available early at a few locations.

The fundraiser is for local schoolgirl Kali Hardig, 12, who is recovering from parasitic meningitis.

"Kartwheels for Kali" features our own reporter Hubert Tate, who told Hardig he'd turn cartwheels when she was taken off a respirator.
