LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Ashley Forrestier first started writing children's books to express her creativity. After being diagnosed with dyslexia she uses the disorder to write the books for children going through the same thing she experiences every day.

Flighty Annie is her latest book, and it's definitely her favorite. The story is a quick paced poem about a little girl with the attention span of glitter in front of a blow drier on a breezy flower field, and she's supposed to be cleaning her room. She wrote the book while she was supposed to be cleaning her house and packing for a Summer's stay in Sherwood, Arkansas.
