The event will take place at Next Level Events in the historic Union Station near downtown Little Rock. The money raised from this year’s event will allow the Arkansas Foodbank to continue to support the 300 agencies in our 33 counties that provide food for their local communities.
Guests will be able to choose from a wide variety of dishes that will be prepared by local chefs from popular restaurants. Throughout the evening, there will be silent and live auctions for arts, crafts, and goods created and donated by local artists, craftsmen, and vendors. The musical guest for the evening will be local talent, The Rodney Block Band, a jazz quartet comprised of a lead trumpet, piano, bass, and drums.
The ticket price is $75 for one ticket or $150 for two. However, tickets will start at a reduced price of $65 if ordered before Feb. 28. Tickets are limited to the first 500 people and can be purchased on our website, www.arkansasfoodbank.org. The event starts at 6 p.m.
The Honorary Chairs for this year’s event are Dr. Laurence H. Miller and his wife, Anne. Dr. Miller is a Senior Psychiatrist with the Division of Medical Services (Medicaid) as well as a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UAMS where he teaches medical students and psychiatry residents. Anne Miller has established a role in the volunteer community in Little Rock and all over Arkansas. She also spends her time fundraising for The Audrey Miller Poritzky Fund for Children, an organization in memory of their daughter Audrey.
If you would like to become a sponsor or donate items for the auction, please contact Becky Barnes Campbell, special events coordinator at the Arkansas Foodbank, at (501) 569-4329 or email at email@example.com.
