A Family Still Looking for Answers 20 Years Later

Pine Bluff, AR - On May 9th, 1994 18 year old Cleashindra Hall went missing less than a mile from her home.  20 years after he disappearance her mother is still looking for answers.

Laurell Hall said, "When a Mother's Day rolls around it just reminds me that that portion of me is not here, that there is something missing."

"20 years have passed and it seems just like yesterday that I dropped her off at her after school job."

Since 1994 not much has changed in the case.

"We know the same thing we knew in 1994, which is not much."

For this anniversary the family is choosing to march.  Walking from their home to the last place Clea was seen.  The hope is this march will bring awareness and maybe somebody will remember something.

"I know that there's somebody out there that knows what happened to her."

Kelly Grace Moore grew up with Clea, she said, "We cannot believe that there is not an answer somewhere, and my catch phrase has been 'someone, somewhere, knows something', and they are just not coming out with it."

As the walk came to a close, balloons were released that had messages tied to them.  It was another effort to remind someone of a day in 1994.

Ms. Hall said, "I'm going to be praying and hoping that this is the last time that we have to release balloons, that somebody will come forward with some answers and that we don't have to do this again."

She said she will continue to hold on to hope, and look for answers, "I have to keep that search going because if I don't who's going to help me find my baby."

Our calls to the Pine Bluff Police Department were not returned.
