2 Day Bake Sale for Hunger Relief

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A local non profit working to feed hungry kids is holding a two day bake sale to raise funds.

It was organized by the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.

The spread of cookies, muffins and other baked goods were all donated by individuals and businesses, laid out today in the governors conference room at the state capitol.

"We have after school programs for kids during the school year where they can get free meals and we also have a summer program for kids can get free meals during the summer," says Mary Katherine Baker.

The group will also be set up tomorrow selling baked goods at the Argenta Farmers Market.

All proceeds of the No Kid Hungry Campaign, an organization with branches in every state working including here in Arkansas with a goal of making sure no child grows up hungry.
