Junior League of Little Rock Holiday House

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 8, Holiday House comes to Little Rock offering events and shopping for everyone. Katherine Vasilos, Holiday House Committee Member and Sabrina Lewellen, President of Junior League of Little Rock, tell who the presenting sponsor is this year, what's the good causes the money made is going to, each special events during Holiday House, their Nursing Nook, Raffle items, shopping times, and where tickets can be purchased.

LITTLE ROCK, AR. – The Junior League of Little Rock (“JLLR”), alongside presenting sponsor Arkansas Children’s Hospital, is pleased to announce the dates for the 27th Annual Holiday House, which will be held November 8–11, 2017 at the Statehouse Convention Center. Approximately 16,000 shoppers visit Holiday House every year to start their shopping season.

For the past 27 years, Holiday House has collectively raised over $5 million to fund the JLLR’s
community priority areas including Stuff the Bus, Nightingales, LYFE, Kota Camp and Boosters & Big Rigs.

More than 60 percent of all funding for JLLR’s community projects is generated by Holiday House.
Holiday House is also pleased to partner with Healthy Active Arkansas and its community partners to host its inaugural

Nursing Nook in conjunction with all Holiday House activities. The Nursing Nook will be a comfortable, quiet, private, space for breastfeeding mothers who want to support Holiday House and care for their small children.

Preview Party: Twas the Night Before Wednesday, November 8th from 6 to 9 p.m.
Ticket Price: $45
Beat the crowds and join us for Preview Party! Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres from Gina’s Catering, complimentary beer and wine, and live music by the talented Adam Dell while you shop. Be sure to browse the silent auction items contributed by local merchants.

Private Shopping: A Very Merry Morning Thursday, November 9th from 9 a.m. to noon
Ticket Price: $30
Brunch and shopping - what could be better? Join us for Private Shopping and enjoy a delicious brunch from Gina’s Catering, a mimosa bar (additional charge) and crowd-free shopping. Be sure to browse the silent auction items contributed by local merchants.

Ladies’ Night: Tinsel and Tapas Thursday, November 9th from 6 to 10 p.m.
Ticket Price: $30
Gather up your girlfriends and join us for Ladies’ Night! Enjoy Tex-Mex favorites from Gina’s Catering (full meal offered from 6 to 8 p.m., and small bites offered from 8 p.m. to close) and complimentary beer and wine. Belk’s makeup and skincare experts will provide free beauty demonstrations. Grab some props, strike a pose and document your fun with Arkansas Picture Booth!

Friday Night Event: Jingle and Mingle sponsored by Lumber 1 Friday, November 10th from 6 to 9 p.m.
Ticket Price: $30
Join us for the premier of our Friday night event, Jingle and Mingle. Enjoy live music, samples and full pours of Lost Forty beers, wine, barbeque from Whole Hog and a dessert bar from local dessert spots. Lost Forty will also have a popup shop featuring Lost Forty gear and product to-go. The guys will like this event too!

Cookies and Milk with Santa Claus sponsored by The Toggery Saturday, November 11th from 9a.m. – noon
Ticket Price: $10
This family-friendly event is one that your children will not want to miss. Held in the Statehouse Convention Center Atrium, it includes a photo with Santa, a cookie, and milk. Tickets are $10 each with a limited number remaining.
