What is the ArkansasMatters.com Business Directory?
The ArkansasMatters.com Business Directory is a unique way for hundreds of thousands of current and potential customers to reach you. As a member, you control how people see and find your business. You can promote your business with photos and video. You can also upload promotional documents like fliers, menus, coupons or specials.
How do I claim my listing?
First, go to http://www.arkansasmatters.com/bizdir/. Then, under “Keyword” search for your business. Once you find your business, click on it and then look for the link that says “Is this your business? Click here to claim it.” Clicking on this link will allow you to set up a basic account. You can then post your business’ contact information and write a short description of your services.
What’s the difference between a Basic Listing and a Premium Listing?
A Basic Listing is free and allows you to post your business’ contact information and a short description of your services. A Premium Listing allows you to create a more detailed profile of your business. You can upload your logo as well as promote your business with photos, video, coupons, etc. To upgrade to a Premium Listing, call the ArkansasMatters.com Support Team at 501-340-4907 or e-mail us at arkansasmatters@kark.com.
What is the ‘Featured Listing’ section and how do I become a featured listing?
The Featured Listing section highlights businesses who have signed up for our Premium membership. The Featured Listing businesses then rotate each time you log onto ArkansasMatters.com.
Managing Your Listing
How do I choose a category for my business?
There are literally thousands of categories and sub-categories on the ArkansasMatters.com Business Directory and it can be difficult to choose just one. Premium members have the option of choosing three separate categories to list their businesses under. One way to decide on a category is to search for your competitor’s business on the Business Directory and then post your listing under the same category. How do I see how many people have looked at my listing?
It’s easy to track how many people have clicked on your listing. Log into your listing and under the “Title” header, click on the link with your business’ name. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You’ll see statistics like how many people have reviewed your business and how many hits there have been on your listing or website.
The ArkansasMatters.com Business Directory has helped me gain more customers. How do I renew my Premium Listing?
Shortly before your listing expires, a sales representative will call you and give you the option of renewing your membership.

How do I log into my listing?
Go to http://www.arkansasmatters.com/bizdir/members/user_login.php and enter your username and password. This information was provided to you in a welcome e-mail from arkansasmatters@kark.com. If you no longer have this information or need help logging in, call the ArkansasMatters.com Support Team at 501-340-4907 or e-mail us at arkansasmatters@kark.com.
I’m having trouble uploading pictures or video. What do I do?
First, make sure that your pictures and/or video are the right size and format. There is a list of acceptable sizes and formats in the area where you upload your picture and/or video. I'm trying to edit my listing but keep receiving an error message. What's causing this?
An error message means you have not filled out all of the required fields. Please check to make sure all of the fields with a red star by them are filled in. If you still receive an error message, contact the ArkansasMatters.com Support Team at 501-340-4907 or arkansasmatters@kark.com
Why won't my listing appear when I search for it in the ArkansasMatters.com search engine?
First, log into your listing. Then look for the category called "Short Description". This is where you will type your desired search word. For example, if you want people to be able to search for your business under "Chiropractor" , type the word "Chiropractor". If you want to include multiple search words, simply press the "Enter" key and type another category.
